With less than one week left until the 12th Marathon Reading kicks off on May 8 at 9am in the Powell Library Courtyard, we’re excited to announce some special readers:

1pm: Jessica Morgan ’97 and Heather Cocks

Heather and Jessica have been writing together since 2004, when they co-founded Go Fug Yourself, a popular snarky celebrity-fashion site. Together, they’ve penned two young adult novels — Spoiled and Messy — and The Royal We, a work of adult contemporary fiction based loosely on the courtship of Prince William and Kate Middleton that was a USA Today bestseller, a People magazine editor’s pick, and a New York Times summer reading list selection.

1:20pm: Christy Taylor

Christy is the creative director at Maven Entertainment, and has worked as a producer on numerous Disney television shows and miniseries. As an actress, she has appeared in the Coen Brothers’s O Brother, Where Art Thou? and on Married With Children, among other projects.

7pm: Molly Ephraim

Molly has appeared on Broadway as Little Red in Into the Woods (2002) and Filke in Fiddler on the Roof (2004). She played Ali Rey in Paranormal Activity 2 (2010) and Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones (2014), and starred for six seasons as Mandy Baxter on ABC’s Last Man Standing (2011-2017). You can catch her later this year in Jason Reitman’s The Front Runner.
