Margaret Atwood was born in 1939 and published her most popular novel, The Handmaid’s Tale, in 1985, which inspired the creation of an original Hulu series. Atwood has a wide range of interests; she has published works of poetry, short fiction, children’s literature, and even a graphic novel. She has won several awards for her works, including the Man Booker Prize for fiction in 2000. Atwood will release the sequel to The Handmaid’s Tale, The Testaments, in September of this year. The third season of Hulu’s television series will be airing on June 5, 2019.
